#Artskickers was founded by Angie Gough, who after a year long campaign championing and promoting the arts where she lived in East London, decided to run an awards event to recognise and reward these individuals to say thank you.
Angie initially came to me with a brief to re-design her logo, category visuals and a leaflet and poster. She has created some initial visuals herself but was struggling to get them how she wanted them to look. She needed someone to take over all the graphics and given them a facelift.
Angie already knew she wanted to work with a superhero theme and the new identity needed to look exciting and attract creatives and artists.
The design list quickly grew to include: social media graphics, billboard poster, van graphics, invites, event panels, stage set, stencils, business cards, awards.
An exciting and attractive visual identity that helped shape the promotional campaign.
#Artskickers ran again in 2018, this time we had confirmed Arts Council funding to launch, which was a bus tour for one day in 6 east London locations, with Artskickers artists performing alongside
Street Orchestra London. #Artskickers were able to get the involvement of
Morag Myserscough with the stage, which is now a permeant feature at the 2018 venue, Dalton curve garden.
With the involvement of
Global Street Art, we were able to have the creative recreated for Shoreditch Art Wall.
